The Number of Businesses that FAIL within 5 years

According to the U.S. Small Business Administration, Fifty percent of small businesses fail within five years, and only 30% survive 10 years or more.

We aim to change that.

Small businesses support the local economies in which they operate by creating jobs and providing products and services to the surrounding communities.

Small Businesses are the heart of our economy and we seek to help them succeed!

I spent 3.5 years studying the role of bookkeeping in small business success. The results of my research revealed the level of importance successful small businesses placed on bookkeeping. I questioned: what bookkeeping strategies do small business owners need to sustain business growth over time?

Here’s What My Research Revealed

There were millions of small businesses creating jobs in all industries throughout the United States. Knowledge and the application of business helps business owners to build successful businesses. When the proper recording of business activities and transactions occurred, the decision-making process for small business owners was simplified.
Researchers discovered 1) many small business owners lack the knowledge to understand the financial information provided by their accountants, and 2) small business owners value accountants experienced in supporting small businesses beyond the basic accounting work.
Small business owners who wanted to succeed. managed their financial record keeping the same as big businesses. I discovered, the general business problem was that small business owners did not always have the expertise to manage the financial aspect of their businesses. The specific business problem was that some small business owners lacked bookkeeping strategies to sustain business growth over time.

Our Main Service is Bookkeeping

But what exactly is bookkeeping & why should business owners care?

What is Bookkeeping?

It is gathering and maintaining information for critical business
decision-making.

How to achieve sustainability?

Small business owners need advisors with knowledge beyond the accounting business to help sustain small businesses.

The role of information for business decision-making is critical.

How business owners approach, assess, and weigh information contribute to the decision-making process and ultimately the outcomes. Small business owners who find accountants to manage the accounting system(s), and who have the ability to meet other advising needs, are more successful.
